  Opening for a Graduate Research Assistant Position (Ph.D.) starting spring 2014, Laboratory of Electronic Materials and Devices, ECE at the University of Alabama. 
  Research interests of this group includes: ferroelectrics and multiferroics, ferroelectric photovoltaics, transparent conducting oxides for PV applications, magnetic materials for storage applications, MEMS, and structural health monitoring.
  
  An ideal candidate would have a degree in electrical engineering/physics/ materials engineering. Familiarity with thin film deposition techniques and characterizations methods is desired. Experience with pulse laser deposition and familiarity with Lab view is a plus but not required. 
  The candidate is expected to be reliable, self-motivated and a team player.
